I did not even know the name of the great Mr. David Sanborn. I have ever listened to the typical Jazz music. However, at that time, Jazz was not so familliar to me. My consiciousness was turned to "so called" "The Progressive Music" featuring the various synthesizer wave sound. My first encounters to him was in 1977. It was on TV "Montreux Jazz Festival 1996"  1997. "Who is this sophisticated stylish man?" and his sound deeply came into my soul  like a  stream with a complete tranparency.  Espeacially , A beautiful melody hit my brain and my heart.  The title was  "Dream".  I bought up all his CDS! He says "I don't like my music to be categorized, and "R&B" is my roots of music. "It comes out of my subconsciousness very naturally" he said.
